Atal Tinkering Lab

The Atal Tinkering Lab (ATL) at PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya Burdwan is part of the nationwide initiative by NITI Aayog under the Atal Innovation Mission. These labs aim to foster innovation and creativity among students by providing hands-on experiences in science, technology, and engineering. At the ATL, students work on projects in electronics, robotics, and computer science, often using tools like 3D printers, sensors, and microcontrollers. Activities in the lab range from workshops and exhibitions to competitions that encourage problem-solving and design thinking. This interactive environment supports students in developing both technical and innovative skills, with opportunities for participation in larger events like the ATL Marathon, where select projects can be patented.
