PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya Burdwan was established in 1994 through the dedicated efforts of Member of Parliament Shri Sudhir Roy, initially housed at the C.C.C Complex Alamganj. Later, in July 2004, the school shifted to its own premises at Kamal Sayer, Goda . Since then it has crossed many milestones and touched the pinnacles of success. This institution provides opportunities to its students to participate in a variety of activities related to all-round development of children. PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya Burdwan serves as a civil sector school providing quality education under the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. This institution is an inseparable part of the Kendriya Vidyalaya system, which was founded in 1962 to cater to the educational needs of children of transferable central government employees, including defense and para-military personnel, by offering standardized education affiliated with CBSE.
